Art has been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember. After pursuing my creativity through several different positions over the years, I decided to further my education as an artist. I moved to NYC in 2002 where I studied at Pratt Institute, earning an Associates Degree in Illustration. In May of 2006, I completed my BFA at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
After living in Boston, NYC, and Sarasota, I returned to my roots in upstate New York and currently reside in Ithaca where I’m fortunate to have such beautiful surroundings to be inspired by. Creating art is exciting and fulfilling, and recently becoming a mother has opened up a whole new source of inspiration. I work with several different mediums, such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and digital.
I'm currently freelancing on commission-based projects. Please contact me at julie@julierosa.com for rates and details.
